My Summer Booklist

I have a goal to read twenty books in 2014. This is a huge step up from the eight I read last year. Between moving and traveling, I hope to make it through a few books this summer. We will see. I am trying to mix fiction and non-fiction in an effort to find my old love of reading. Here is the list so far:

by Rita J. Simon and Rhonda M. Roorda.
Like pregnant women might read books about pregnancy, I am reading to prepare for adoption. While learning from adoptive parents is helpful, I also want to learn from adoptees themselves.

by Kevin DeYoung
God's will can be difficult to distinguish. Sometimes we get so caught up in trying to figure it out that we forget to take action. I expect this book to be an encouragement to keep moving forward.

by P.G. Wodehouse
I was introduced to P.G. Wodehouse by my sister. His witty way with words make his works very quotable. I shared several examples in this post, but look forward to finding more quotes in this book.

By Aimee Byrd
While I am not a fan of this book's cover, the material seems applicable. I will let you know how it goes.

What's on your reading list this summer?
